Cannabis Delivery in Downtown Ottawa

Same-Day Cannabis Delivery in Downtown Ottawa, 8 AM to 10 PM (last orders 9 PM)

Hydro Green Shop delivers cannabis to the ByWard Market, Lowertown, Sandy Hill, Centretown, the Golden Triangle, the Glebe and New Edinburgh every day from 8 AM to 10 PM (last orders 9 PM). Most central addresses receive their order in about 25 to 50 minutes once it is confirmed. Delivery is free on orders over $100, the minimum order is $60, and you can pay by Interac e-Transfer, cash or Bitcoin. Call or text 613-614-2889, or browse the full menu and order online.

Orders leave from our dispatch base in the east end, so the Market, Lowertown and Sandy Hill are usually the first stops on the way into the core. This page gives you a realistic window for each neighbourhood, explains how to get an order into a condo tower without a wait in the lobby, and covers what to expect at the door.

Delivery Windows Across Downtown Ottawa

The times below are typical windows after we confirm your order. They depend on how many orders are already on the road, traffic and the weather. If you need something by a set time, text us before you order and we will give you a live estimate.

NeighbourhoodAroundTypical windowGood to know
ByWard MarketYork, Clarence, George and Dalhousie streets25–40 minSome Market streets fill with patios and foot traffic in summer; a nearby side-street meeting spot helps
LowertownKing Edward Avenue, St. Patrick Street, Beausoleil Drive25–40 minOne of the closest downtown areas to our route in from the east
Sandy HillLaurier Avenue East, Somerset Street East, near the University of Ottawa25–40 minMany older houses split into units; include the unit letter or number
New Edinburgh and LindenleaBeechwood Avenue, Crichton Street, Sussex Drive25–40 minMostly houses and low-rise buildings, so hand-offs are quick
Parliament and the business districtSparks, Queen, Albert and Slater streets30–45 minOffice towers often close to visitors after hours; use a residential address or meet outside
Golden TriangleElgin Street, Cartier Street, near the Rideau Canal30–45 minDense with condos and concierge desks; see the building tips below
CentretownBank Street, Somerset Street West, Metcalfe and O’Connor streets30–50 minOne-way streets add a few minutes; a buzzer code saves more
Chinatown, Little Italy and LeBreton FlatsSomerset Street West, Preston Street, Booth Street35–50 minThe west edge of the core, so usually later in a downtown run
The GlebeBank Street south of the Queensway, Lansdowne, Fifth Avenue35–50 minGame nights and events at Lansdowne slow Bank Street down

Big downtown events such as Canada Day, Winterlude, festivals at LeBreton Flats and games at Lansdowne bring road closures and heavy traffic. On those days, order earlier than usual and expect the end of the window. If you live just south of the Glebe in Old Ottawa South or near Bank Street and Riverside Drive, see our Billings Bridge delivery page; for Hintonburg, Westboro and Wellington West, see West Ottawa delivery.

Condo, Buzzer and Concierge Tips

A lot of the downtown core lives in towers and walk-ups, and the most common cause of a slow hand-off is not traffic but a driver waiting outside a locked door. A few details make a real difference:

  • Add your unit number and buzzer code to the order. If your building uses an enterphone directory, tell us the name it is listed under, since it is often not the name on the order.
  • Keep your phone on and nearby. The driver will call or text when they arrive. If you do not pick up, the order may have to wait while they try again.
  • We cannot leave orders with a concierge, in a parcel room or at the door. The driver has to check valid photo ID from an adult 19 or older in person, so the person receiving the order needs to come down or buzz the driver up.
  • Say which entrance to use. Many Centretown and Golden Triangle buildings have a side or garage entrance that is easier to reach than the front door. A short note such as “side door on Cartier” saves several minutes.
  • Staying at a hotel? Text us the hotel name before you order. You will need to meet the driver in the lobby with your ID, and most hotels do not allow smoking in rooms, so check the policy first.

How to Order, Step by Step

  2. Place your order online, or call or text 613-614-2889 with the items you want, your full address (unit number, buzzer code and entrance) and how you plan to pay. Our ordering guide walks through the online checkout.

  4. Pay by Interac e-Transfer, cash at the door or Bitcoin. If you choose e-Transfer, we send the payment details when we confirm.
  5. Meet the driver and show valid government-issued photo ID. You must be 19 or older.

The minimum order is $60. Orders over $100 ship free, and orders under $100 have a flat $10 delivery fee. Full policies are on the FAQ page.

What Downtown Customers Order Most

Flower

Indica, sativa and hybrid strains in a range of sizes. If you are stocking up, ounces and multi-ounce deals give you the lowest price per gram. See the full flower menu.

Vape Pens

Vape pens are compact and give off less lingering smell than a joint, which is why they are popular in apartments and condos. Compare options in vape pens.

Edibles

Gummies and other edibles suit people who would rather not smoke at all. They take longer to kick in than flower or vapes, so start low, wait, and read the product details before having more. Browse edibles.

Current Deals

  • 3oz BC Mix (Purple Kush, Rockstar and Rainbow Gas) for $200
  • 2 vape pens for $100
  • Free gummies with any ounce

Before You Order: Age, ID and Common Sense

  • You must be 19 or older in Ontario (21 or older if you are ordering to the Quebec side). We check government-issued photo ID on every delivery.
  • If no one 19 or older with valid ID is at the address, the driver cannot hand over the order.
  • Many condo boards and leases restrict smoking indoors or on balconies. Check your building rules; vapes and edibles are the lower-odour options.
  • Never drive after consuming cannabis, and store products out of reach of children and pets.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does cannabis delivery take in downtown Ottawa?

Most downtown orders arrive in about 25 to 50 minutes after we confirm them. The ByWard Market, Lowertown, Sandy Hill and New Edinburgh are usually 25 to 40 minutes, Centretown and the Golden Triangle 30 to 50 minutes, and the Glebe, Chinatown and Little Italy 35 to 50 minutes. Events and heavy traffic can push orders toward the end of the window.

Which central neighbourhoods do you deliver to?

We deliver to the ByWard Market, Lowertown, Sandy Hill, New Edinburgh, Lindenlea, the Parliament and business district, the Golden Triangle, Centretown, Chinatown, Little Italy, LeBreton Flats and the Glebe. If you are unsure about your address, text it to 613-614-2889 and we will confirm.

Can the driver leave my order with the concierge?

No. The driver has to check valid photo ID from an adult 19 or older in person, so orders cannot be left with a concierge, in a parcel room or at the door. Add your unit number, buzzer code and preferred entrance to the order, and keep your phone nearby so you can meet the driver.

What are your delivery hours?

We deliver from 8 AM to 10 PM (last orders 9 PM), seven days a week. For a same-day order, place it well before 10 PM, and text us if you are unsure about the last run of the night.

Is there a minimum order and is delivery free?

The minimum order is $60. Delivery is free on orders over $100, and orders under $100 have a flat $10 delivery fee.

How can I pay?

We accept Interac e-Transfer, cash on delivery and Bitcoin. If you pay by e-Transfer, we send the payment details when we confirm your order.

Can I order to a hotel or my office?

Text us the address before you order so we can confirm. You will need to meet the driver in the lobby or outside with valid photo ID. Office lobbies often lock in the evening, and most hotels do not allow smoking in rooms, so check first.

What is the quickest way to get my order?

Include your full address with unit number, buzzer code and entrance, keep your phone on, have your ID ready and pay promptly if you choose e-Transfer. Avoid ordering right as a big downtown event lets out if you can.
